Whitten Park is a well-kept, beautiful campground located along the Tennessee-Tombigbee River, offering clean facilities and friendly hosts. Visitors appreciate the spacious, level sites, scenic views, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great getaway. Some amenities, like the bathrooms and trails, could use updates, but overall, guests enjoy their stays and express a desire to return.

Peaceful place all but the one night of loud late night music at the place beside it where the boats are stationed but that part couldn’t be helped nor controlled by the park. However the trails going to the beach alone with the beach itself needs a lot of attention!!! If that was done that would make it an amazing place and best place to camp ! But my opinion over all great place but the beach and the trails to the beach need that resolved ….Thanks for the stay and very very welcoming park attendants

Great overnight stay. The campsite was great and the attendants were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the Mexican restaurant in Fulton to top the day.

The most helpful were the couple at the Gate, as well as Park rangers. Both were so Sweet and had very helpful information.

Just spent one night. 12 is a prime spot with back door access to fishing dock. Nice large shady spot. Helpful, accommodating hosts.
