We found North Abutment a well laid out campground with good water and electric service. Since, we have a 40' fifth wheel we appreciated the the long and level site we used. The hosts, Yvonne and Dan, were very good and friendly.
The lake was low for the annual winter draw down and you can walk or bike on the dry lake bed. There are a lot of birds in the area. There is fishing below the spillway and nearby trails and a fitness walk path in the Dam Central area. TV over aire service was good and Verizon and AT&T were usable, but a little low in signal strenth.

Our stay was just for one night. We found campsite clean ,paved and level. The restroom shower house was very clean.

City of Grenada for approximately three miles then turn left on
Scenic Loop 333. Follow Scenic Loop 333 across the dam and
take the second road to the right at the North end of the Dam.
