Stayed two nights in site #26. Plenty of space between sites. All sites are concrete and level. Full hook-ups. Restrooms are kept clean and maintained. Site is on the water, but water level was low at the time of our visit. COE drops the water levels this time of year in preparation for the upcoming spring rains. Campground was about 50% occupied at the time of our visit. Great campground, will be back soon.

The campsites were clean and well maintained. The campground host was very friendly and helpful. There were plenty of bathhouses throughout the campground. The One near our campsite was very clean. Also, I liked knowing that the bathhouses doubled as a storm shelter if you get caught in a major storm. We enjoyed walking on the beach down the hill from Campsite #30. North Abutment is a very peaceful place.

This place is beautiful! We were a group of 7 campers, some family some friends. Some of the group had others to join us for the day to cook and eat. Easy to get to and a fun place. We were all located in one area (52,51,53,49,48,47,46) 47 is the BEST of the ones we had but 39 is the best of our loop. Although the lake was down a lot it was still by far the prettiest lake we have camped on. We watched deer play all day behind our camper in the area where the lake usually would be.(Take binoculars) The bath house was not at all in any shape to use in our area. We will be back to enjoy this beautiful place again. Even the enjoyable ride around the area gave us a feeling of the mountains. loved it
