COE campgrounds are always top notch. Well maintained, clean and peaceful. All Grenada Lake sites now have sewer which just makes something perfect that much better.

It was our first time to camp at North Abutment and we were very impressed with the campground. Daniel, the host, keeps a clean campground. He works constantly, but has time to stop and talk. He is a great host and an asset to the campground.
We stayed on site 79, which was a really good site on the North Abutment Lake side. (There’s also sites on the Grenada Lake side that are nice) It’s a full hook-up campground, the campsites are easy to get into, there’s room between each site, and the sites are laid out in such a way that other campers do not block your view of the lake. We decided this campground will be one of our regulars!

Great place. Nice sites. Rangers were burning underbrush while we were there so only 4 stars.

From I-55, take the Grenada exit on highway 8 east through the
City of Grenada for approximately three miles then turn left on
Scenic Loop 333. Follow Scenic Loop 333 across the dam and
take the second road to the right at the North end of the Dam.
