I was in site 101. Although it is described as appropriate for both RV and tent, I did not find a level spot in the grass/woody area that was good for my tent. I did like the restroom/shower building. It was quite clean. There was a pavilion nearly that was supposedly a wi-fi hot spot. (Sign said it was.) I could not get any wi-fi at all at that location. Camp hosts very friendly and do a great job keeping this campground litter free. Driveway lengths varied greatly, and I saw relatively few pull-thru sites. I hope to return in the future to try out my new kayak. It was too windy for kayaking to be safe, even though I could have put in to the lake right from my site.

We were there before the beach opened and the crowds showed up. It's quite simply a beautiful park. We have only 2 complaints, the website says there is an ice machine and there is not. It also says there is a laundry facility which there is, but you can't use it. It still has a sign about Covid, give me a break. How many campers do you think actually care about that anymore. In other words, update your website.

Really enjoyed our stay! We do have a few complaints. There was a barking dog next to us. The dog continually barked all day, and through late at night. Dog feces around the camp grounds, and people driving loud trucks around after 10.

Piney Grove is our "go-to" vacation spot. The park is always well maintained. Upgrades have been happening over the past few years which keep sites open and usable. Wish there still spots available on a first-come, first-served basis. Love having a Golden Age card. Makes things so much easier on the pocketbook.
