We loved it! Every site is roomy. It was quiet and bathhouses very clean . We like the security of someone being at the entrance most of the time. Location between West Point and Columbus so if you want to eat out you have choices .

My husband and I love to camp at Town Creek. We come every chance we can, if we can get a reservation. We live north of Grenada, MS, so it is over a 100 mile drive (one way) for us. My grandchildren and great grands live in the Mathiston area and they camp there for every holiday. In fact, we just celebrated one of my great grands birthday there in September. It's a nice friendly little neighborhood. It seems everyone looks after everyone. The hosts are always friendly. I'm 72 years young, but once I get over there with my 3-Wheel bike, I feel as young as my great grands, because they keep me on my toes riding with them and at the swing set swinging. We just love the place.

We took our grandchildren and they had a great time. They are 7,6, and 4 years old.
We loved the flat areas for helping them with their bike riding skills. They enjoyed the swings. The bathroom facilities were nice and clean.

We love Town Creek! It is well-kept with clean campsites and bathrooms. It is not so far out that you can’t run to a store, but far enough out that it’s a quiet get-away!"

Nice campground. Clean bathhouses. Walking trails. Loved watching the boats and barges. riding bikes. It would’ve been nice had we known our site was a buddy site beforehand. Our neighbor didn’t know either until we got there. Will definitely be back.
