If the site says first come first serve, there is no way to pay for it. They refuse to allow you to pay at the gate. The sites that can be reserved are paid online only. It is quite the hassel. One couple I talked to tried to reserve a site for over two hours before they finally were able to. We like it there, just getting to where it is not worth the hastle.

At this location the 50 amp was disabled. Had to use 30 amp which was no problem.

We love Town Creek. It is a clean, peaceful, quiet campground. The sites are very large and spacious. We enjoy visiting there very much. The only thing I wish was a little better is the cell service. But I am sure that is out of the control of the park.

One of my favorite campgrounds. Love the layout. Could use some updating and facilities maintenance.

We have been coming to this facility since the mid 1990's and have always enjoyed our time there. It's fun to just sit back and watch all the activity on the river. A must see in the area is the Waverly Mansion not far from the campground. Also try the food at Proffits Porch just over the bridge toward Columbus.
