I was pleasantly surprised with this campground. It was my first time here, and a last minute booking so I didn’t have a choice of sites since they were mostly reserved already. I was in site A10, this loop had plenty of shade. The only reason I did not give a full 5 stars is because the sites are a bit close together. But there were a few sites that looked much better. The showers could be a bit cleaner as well, they need to spray some bleach in there. And because it was so busy the hot water ran out every night so it was air temperature basically. But it was so hot out it wasn’t bad. Seems like a very family oriented campground, with a playground in the middle. Typically not my type of place with kids running around but it wasn’t bad, everyone was nice. The water was great as well! Warmer than I expected, compared to the current and jacks fork rivers nearby. Being able to drive out on the gravel bar was cool too!

Very nice. Clean camping area and they kept the showers clean as well. The camp was pretty full when we stayed but the wait for showers was short.

i was very disappointed that people were parking in the grass, and in some cases the vehicle was partially blocking the road, in the passed rules were always enforced and the rangers were quick to confront people who broke the rules.
on this trip we watched the park rangers drive right passed several vehicles parked in the gras, and one that was actually blocking a fourth of the road, absolutely nothing was done, in the case of the one partially blocking the road the vehicle was parked there for two days.
i think it’s a shame that the park rules are ritten in pencil and only apply to some.

I don't want any more people knowing where this gem is located! I don't even tag it in my posts. Great place, 5 outa 5, won't tell a friend.
