The camp area was clean, men’s showers would worked one day and not the next.
There were a lot of seed ticks in the campground. The camp host was rarely around seemed to spend most of the time floating on the river. I have been camping here for years but will probably find somewhere else to camp for future visits.

This is not a family campground. It is a party on the water area. The water hookup on the site had a leak and looking at the campers in the area, all sites had water issues. Shower house and bathrooms were not very nice.

Arrival & departure
- Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis outside of peak season.
Site capacity
- Each site can accommodate two camping units: either one wheeled unit and one tent, or two tents, with a maximum of 10 people.
Fires & fuel
- Restrictions on firewood are in place to prevent invasive pests and diseases.
- To protect forests, buy firewood locally and burn it on-site; do not move firewood from other locations.
Safety & rules
- Generators are not allowed to be used.
Vehicles & parking
- ATVs, UTVs, and golf carts cannot be operated in developed recreation areas.
