We camped with a group of 72 friends and in all we had 20 camper units. We create lots of activities for all ages. Each year we have a kids bike parade around loop A, lead by an 85 year old big kid. This year in honor of the Olympics we had Olympic Competitions in and around the loop A camp area and play ground. We had a story telling night around the campfire one night and we had local guest from a local church doing Bible Drills. We also had our annual Duck Race down the Black River with 72 ducks, one for each camper. Most of us stayed a full week and we made homemade ice cream each night and made a variety of flavors that equaled 98 quarts for the week..! We had big community meals for breakfast and dinner and we ring a bell when its time to eat. We also make homemade donuts from biscuits, funnel cakes and fried Oreo's. We use 3 Black Stone griddles for most meals and we have a 20 x 40 canopy we put up to cook under and play card games at night under and its our shelter for rain. We camp big and its over a 35 year tradition for some and its a 20 year tradition for my family. Its great wholesome fun that is enjoyed by all. Our only disappointment is when the new restrooms and showers were built it eliminated the ability for more than one person to use the facility. A great built unit with a poor design.
