The only thing that could've made our stay better - was to have a shower house close enough to walk to. It was in the next section over from where we were at - we were in section A & the shower house was over in section B.

The road in was very good, but it needed more signage. There was one sign pointing to the loops, but once in the loop there was no sign telling which way to go. The site number was located on the lantern pole which was not always easy to see. There was a slant front to back. We had no trouble getting our 42 foot 5th wheeler around the park. The FHU sites are all on the inside of a loop with no visual separation. The site was very shady. It is a long drive back to Clinton for supplies and fuel. We had one bar of Verizon service, no service inside, and no internet. Decent laundry at $2.00 per load to wash or dry. The dump station is across from the gate, but there is no sign letting you know, the dumpsters are also at that location. One day the power company had to cut off power to the campground to replace poles, it would have been nice if the camp hosts had let us all know so we could have prepared.

Great four days on the lake at Bucksaw. Incredibly beautiful area and campground is well maintained. Very peaceful and fishing on Truman was successful again for blue catfish and flathead. Can't wait to go back!

Sites are level and spaced out with plenty of grass & trees. Property appears well maintained and bath house was clean. For the money as good as it gets.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Drain all water from equipment and discard live bait before leaving the park to prevent the spread of zebra mussels.
