We camped at Bucksaw in site b41 on May 20,2022. This site is a pull through with electric and water hook ups. Mostly level site facing the lake. We did not use the restrooms so cannot comment on them. It was a very nice campground will go back.

Very enjoyable experience. Park was quiet and peaceful. Restrooms were clean. Enjoyed the variety of birdlife and the deer grazing in the meadow. We come to Buck saw several times every year. Just to relax. If you have Verizon there is no cell service but I could text. But that's not the parks fault.

We loved this campground. The sites are large and most offer shade and a nice grassy area. Views of the lake add to the charm. Beyond the scenic beauty is the hospitality from the camp hosts. They are such a part of the fabric of the campground. Their presence adds a lot to this place. Don’t hesitate to stay at Bucksaw you’ll love it.

The first thing I love about Bucksaw, C loop, is that it is wide open spaces between RV’s. It is so quiet and peaceful. I was there early in the year, May, it needed to be mowed and they finally did get to it toward the end of my stay. It made all the difference. The C loop is excellent. There is all types of hook ups, from Electric only to full.
I love this place and as a senior, the cost is incredible.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Drain all water from equipment and discard live bait before leaving the park to prevent the spread of zebra mussels.

- Buy firewood locally and burn it on-site to protect forests from pests.
