We love the camp ground sites and the facilities at the camp ground. We were very sad to have to pay $5.00 every day to launch our boat at the Bucksaw Marina.

Since it was our first time at Bucksaw, we didn't know quite what to do when there was no one at the entrance hut. We had reservations so went on through and prowled around till we found our site.
It is a BEAUTIFUL and WELL KEPT campground, clean restrooms and showers. Later in the week I did flag down a friendly man on a golf cart who looked official - because we wanted a map of the campground. Twenty minutes later, he was back to our camper with maps.
We look forward to going back.

This is a great camping area and the hosts have always been great until this year. The current host is rude and obnoxious and even threatened to come out of the booth and fight me because I brought my ticket that goes on the post back to the booth to tell him the dates on it were wrong. He looks like he's a biker and he does in fact have a chopper in his driveway and also acts the part. Definitely not what you'd expect for a host in a C.O.E. campground.

Nice, well spaced sites, most are shaded, campground. Has a nice beach, great playground. Vault toilets are very well maintained, and cleaned, as are the restroom houses. About a mile to the boat ramp. Sites are gravel, have lots of room between, and enforced quiet time, makes this a great campground. Negative- Shower house is inconvenient to all 3 campgrounds and woefully inadequate. About 20 seconds of hot water and thats it.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
