Love the camp host and the rangers who come through.. everyone has been extremely helpful and nice. Recently the corp cleared some ground so now there are some great views on my bike rides!

This is nice, quite campground with flat grassy and shady spots. Lake access is provided by boat launch- there are a few spaces that have a bit of a lake view, but not right on the lake. I wanted to take time for a special shout out to the campground hosts- they are very friendly and kind- and the showerhouse/ restroom was the cleanest I have ever experienced at a campground (Corps, FS, state parks, private, etc)- WOW! ( FYI, I camp about 40-60 nights a year, so I have seen some things LOL)- outstanding :-)

Great clean and well-kept park. We were in the "A" park, and as I walk around, I noticed many spaces in the "B" park did not have water. But we were good and enjoyed out time.

Just ahead of the 4th of July weekend, campground only had a half dozen occupants. Nice and quiet. Great access to Truman Lake. Didn’t try my luck, but lotsa fish jumping as I walked the edge of the lake.

This was my 1st COE park- & what a great 1st impression! We arrived earlier than check- in, stopped at the entrance & saw a man walking toward us. I asked if he worked there , when he said yes, and asked if I had a reservation.it was the first one on top of his pile. We got set up, & as he would drive by he would stop by another 3 or 4 times, asking if we were ok, if we needed anything. I am impressed. I was sad we were only able to stay the one night. Next time thru, I’ll know there’s a great place to stop! Sparrowfoot COE park !
