Got in late to the park check-in office was closed for the evening. Proceeded to my campsite and was met by the park staff. Greeted me by name and handed me my window tag. Then showed me where my campsite was located. Very friendly man and made sure I was satisfied . Campgrounds and shower house were exceptionally clean even afterward what I can only amaze was a very busy Labor Day weekend.
I was up and gone before sunrise so my stay was very short. Definitely looking to plan a stay in the future.

A nice campground just outside of Clinton, MO. You can't control other people, but I have had a great time camping out here. Most spots have great tree shade for evening hours. The hosts are very nice and attentive. I appreciate their work and hospitality.

I did not initially choose a good site for tent camping. The hosts were fabulous and took me for a ride in their golf cart and helped me find a spot for myself (and my friends) that was more suitable to what we needed. I will absolutely be back here again. The shower houses have hot water, the toilets flush great and trash is always picked up.
