Campground had nice shade and good spacing. We were in loop A so we didn't have access to the lake. The lake was muddy when we were there. We hiked to the end of the campground area where we could walk to to water. People had cleaned fish and had campfires and left debris along the rocks. The laundry was clean and so were the bathrooms. Within driving distance to Walmart in Clinton. Friendly camphosts.

Park attendants were amazing. They are kind, caring, and happy people.
The park is well maintained, and watched, every night there was atleast 2 drive throughs from the sheriff department and also park rangers drove through multiple times a day. Very safe here.

this campground was verry clean quiet and spacious. The trees in campground provided a good amount of shade for the hot days and the nearby lake is beautiful. 9/10 would recommend

I especially enjoyed the cleanliness of everything. I watched the campground hosts from the entrance cleaning restrooms every morning and picking up trash about everyday. The other campground hosts drove right by trash and seemed to provide no value.
