About Round Spring

In the rolling, forested landscape of Round Spring, two of America's most beautiful spring-fed rivers combine to make up the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. As the first national park area to protect a wild river system, visitors have plenty of scenic water activities to enjoy as well as hiking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing.

Round Spring Campground offers a beautiful location with clean, well-maintained facilities, including hot showers and restrooms. Many visitors appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, proximity to the Current River, and opportunities for wildlife sightings, such as wild horses. I love Current River and have enjoyed it for last 53 years. If your planning on a stay at Round Springs, be aware that you will walk up or walk down to your table and firepit. Also be aware that if it rains you will probably have water running through your site. Tenters beware.

It was a nice place to camp except we all heard BAAM!! ...... BAAM!! .......BAAM!! Until late hours of The night about 1am . And then started again about 5 in the morning. We could not sleep very well. What was it? The steel doors of the bathrooms and showers slamming because there is no shocks on the doors. I will probably choose another place to camp next time.

The camp was very clean and beautiful. Lots to do in the area and the staff was absolutely amazing! We did a walk in camp and had to walk through another camp and that is the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars.
