This is one of our favorite places to camp.
The only thing is, we wish the big playground was within the big loop, so the kids would have easier access.

We love to camp here in the spring and fall. There is no place to swim, otherwise, it would be great anytime. The campground is large and mostly flat. It is great for walking ro biking. There are foundations and street names of the old town of Greenville that is fun to look at as well as an old grave yard that dates back to the Civil War that is interesting. There is a nice playground if you have small ones. All the camp sites are full hook up which my husband especially likes. There is a river right there if you like to fish.. All in all, a great place to camp.

Great place to walk or ride your bicycle. The interpretive trail about Greenville’s history is very interesting. Full hookup camping there is a bargain for seniors with an Interagency Pass.

Old Greenville Campground is one of our favorite places to stay. We love the concrete pads, full hookups, lovely flat area to ride bikes. This year we were there at pre-Halloween and enjoyed the directions that many put up.

Greenville recreation area is a great campground. We love it. Bring a bike because there are so many places to ride. Most of the campsites are level and easy to access. Lots of space between sites. Hosts are very helpful and really friendly. The town of Greenville is just a few miles down the road and we always for get something. So the local dollar general is use frequently.

We stayed one night while traveling to Arkansas. Very clean and friendly park. Level, clean full hookup site. Great place to walk the dog and stretch our legs. Would definitely visit again for more than one night.

Exceptionally clean campground. Host is very friendly and personable. Nice distance between sites; no problems with electrical or water hook-ups. Interesting cemetary on grounds, as well as historical sites from the Trail of Tears. There are also beautiful paved trails that are great for walking or bicycle riding. Campground is about one mile away from the very small town of Greenville, Missouri. Great restaurant very near campground (though not walking distance), Kinfolks Restaurant. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
