The amenities are very good. Nice pad for trailer and vehicle.
Well maintained campground, and the bike trails are really nice. Just a very nice experience. Mosquitoes were crazy because of the flooding but wear repellent and the ticks are bad this year.

We had a wonderful experience for our trip to Old Greenville Campground, during the black powder rendezvous! I try to get a spot there every year, but this year was very important because I had a young couple of children with me. The old ways are disappearing, and our children need to be taught history. Survival. They were able to learn how, and partake in, making candles, learn about how people lived a long time ago. They learned about how they cooked and how they turned animal fur into clothing. They were able to see and do things they hadn’t ever seen or done before. They can’t wait to do it again!
Our campsite was quiet and laid-back. The kids were able to play at the playground, ride bikes, play in the sand at the swings. We love camping here, you will too!
All sites are full hookup. The St. Francis River runs along the campground and is great for boating, fishing and swimming. There are blacktopped trails, and one goes all the way into the town of Greenville.
