Pros : Awesome place to stay. Amazing for bike riders.
Cons:. They need to have people dig out the fire pits and cut branches so campers don't drag the roofs through the branches to get to their sights. And people who have dogs that bark at other dogs need kennel them or let somebody keep them when they come down here for the weekend. The barking is a little ridiculous when there's nothing but dogs down here.
Overall a very good place to stay for the beauty and price compared to Western states that charge way too much/way more.

We really like Old Greenville. A lot of paved walking and bike riding paths.

I love this spot bc it’s shaded. Word of caution, if you book in October, don’t back all the way in. It’s got a walnut tree and those things hit my camper all night.
There’s room in this site to pull forward and stay mostly out from the tree. We also had to clean them off the slide before pulling it in at the end of our trip.
I will still book this site but thought this info might be helpful to others.

One of my favorite camping spots. It's a wonderful place for bike riding not only through the park but also on the trails. And the historical information is wonderful to see. A big thanks to the Corps of Engineers for preserving our history in Missouri. Greenville is a great little hidden gem in Missouri that is enjoyable to both the young and the old.

What's not to love about Greenville Campground - they have spacious full hook-ups, wide concrete pads to park on, nice flat paved roads to bicycle or walk, historic Old Greenville foundations with stories and pictures to read and walk through, nice shade and grass areas, a bicycle/walking trail connecting the campground to the town of Greenville, several play areas for children, basketball court - one of my favorite places to camp, ride my bike, and relax.

This is one of the best COE parks we have visited. Our only desire is that this park would be open year round. It is a shame that it closes during the winter when many of us RVers would love to travel and see the area other times of the year.

Campground was one of the best we have stayed in. Sites were well maintained with good spacing between neighbors. The campground was designed with obviously a good deal of thought. Enjoyed our stay here and would come back.
