Nice site, sites are a little close but view of the lake from my site was amazing. And as always with parks in Missouri people are friendly.

Very well maintained grounds and each area looked great. Water/electrical hookups had no issues with. The bathroom was clean daily. Was very quiet area, pet friendly area, and friendly people. There is a gas station outside the park and very small market in the next town over. I took a trip to Ha ha tonka state park see the castle ruins. Will say in June the humidity is super high.

From Springfield, MO, take US 65 north for 60 miles to Preston, MO.. Continue on Highway 54 west to Hermitage, MO., then take Highway 254/ 64 south to Carsons Corner and follow Highway 254 west toward the dam.
The entrance to Damsite Park is on the south side of Highway 254.
