This park is fantastic! Conveniently located on Pomme de Terre and just seconds to amenities and services at Carson's Corner and five minutes to amenities and services at Galmey and Hermitage. Very clean, quiet and friendly attendants! Just avoid the sites across the road from the sewage treatment area as they aren't very quiet. Our water and electric services worked flawlessly. If you're a little older and no kids, the East loop is usually quiet and little traffic in our experience. Of course that could change when schools are all out.

For us (non boaters) there were not many campsites to choose from. We did find a small section more private and with trees that was beautiful. Since we’d not been to this campground before I had questions but was never able to reach anyone. I tried several days at various times but the phone just rang. When we went to the project office there was a sign that simply said CLOSED.

This was our first time in site 64. It’s a great site! In April and May, because of wind, those sites on the point are very windy. We couldn’t do a campfire or put our awning out the whole weekend. Thankfully it was not hot.

Great place to camp. This is our go to location for camping. We like to hang out at the campground and if you want good food the Crappie Hole is just up the hill.
