This is my 2nd year at this campground. Shade at some sites. Facilities are always clean and campground is pretty quiet. They mow the lawns on Wednesday morning so remember that. Quite a variety of birds to see, and always fish jumping in the lake. Beautiful sunrise angle. A nice loop to walk around. easy to get to and close to carson's corner store if needed. Two GG stores close by, and a flea market to browse.

From Springfield, MO, take US 65 north for 60 miles to Preston, MO.. Continue on Highway 54 west to Hermitage, MO., then take Highway 254/ 64 south to Carsons Corner and follow Highway 254 west toward the dam.
The entrance to Damsite Park is on the south side of Highway 254.
