The campground is very peaceful, right on the lake and simply gorgeous. The park is very well maintained, and the bath house was very clean. Most sites are pretty level and stayed in site 38 on this visit. It's fairly level, right on the water and a great place to watch the sunrise on the lake. The camp host was very friendly and went out of his way to provide information about the area.

We love coming to this campground in this area, but for some reason things are changing. at the check-in booth is only open from 2 PM to 7 PM. We were there for five days and I never saw anyone cleaning the restrooms or cleaning up the campsite after people left also only saw the park Ranger came through twice in five days and one deputy sheriff in the whole time we were there. I personally don’t think that the amount of money the Recreation.gov is charging for the side that the park attendance should not be working for free and only receiving a campsite for payment.

We stayed in site 37. It was a pull through next to the water. Pretty close to being level. All sites had plenty of room with water and electric.
Stayed during the week. It was quiet except for the birds singing.
Plan on going back in the fall.

We thoroughly enjoy this campground. The hosts are friendly, the restrooms and grounds are well cared for, the views of the lake and surrounding area are good from every site. It's a short drive for groceries/dining and Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is 15 minutes away. Book early as this campground is popular.

It was our first time staying at Mill Creek. Absolutely love it!!! It is a wonderful campground. We like how the lots are paved, the campground and bathrooms are clean and you're on the water. We came home and booked two more dates. Can't wait!!!

The web site wouldn't process my cancellation. I tried to cancel my trip prior to being penalized and it wouldn't process.

Mill Creek is a very nice location with many water view sites. The only challenge at Mil Creek is that the dumpster location is a good hike from many of the campsites which is both beneficial to keep the smell away but on a hot day its a hike. Clean shower house and restrooms.
