What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek in Missouri is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained campground with spacious sites and stunning lake views. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite destination. While some noted the lack of Wi-Fi and a rude camp host, these negatives were overshadowed by the overall positive experiences shared by many campers.

Good campground but there was no trees because one was cut down and it let most of the days sun come on

When you have look for someone to refill the toilet paper in the restrooms, you're not going to have a good day. Having to do this once is bad enough, over the period of our stay we had to FIND someone to fill the paper several times. We were not aware of a TP shortage but evidently there must be one. Not only did they (?) not keep the paper stocked but the trash cans seemed to be full almost all the time.
Other than having to pack your own paper to the latrine, like we used to do on Boy Scout camp outs, we had a good time.

Mill Creek is fantastic; every site is worth the trip. Site 54 was extra special: huge driveway and the gigantic lakeside area is gently sloping, lots of privacy and tons of room between sites. We did not find a single thing to dislike. We will go back as soon as we can.

Site 19 has a great view of the lake and beach. Back window view was great. The campsites on the peninsula were all closed. Not sure if it was from the recent flooding or not enough staff. Campground is close enough to drive to Kimberling City for groceries. Be sure to drive down to Hwy 86 and over to Persimmon Hill Farm for awesome bakery items. Site 17 would have a wonderful view if you have driver side windows in your camper. Dump station could be set up better for draining.
