Although site number 54 is a nice shady spot with decent separation from your neighbors, I could only give it a rating of three. There are only two unisex bathrooms in this loop with no showers. Bathrooms are super busy and without toilet paper at times. Campsite is not a good place to swim or tie up a boat due to the large rocks that are just offshore. This is a very busy campground so expect noise.

This is the best place to camp in all of Missouri! The staff that works there is amazing and they keep the campground clean and neat.

The park was absolutely lovely! It's so clean, and the sites are mostly shaded and spacious with many that have direct lake access. The location is excellent as well, and everyone we met from rangers to custodians was kind, professional, and friendly. GREAT place to drag the ol' RV!

Lovely destination and the park was clean and quiet. Frustrating that we needed to change sites several times to stay for a week. When they say check out is at 3, they mean it. We were stuck in an attraction and made it to move our camper at 4:15. The park hosts were quite angry with us, and the people moving onto the site were waiting.
