What Guests Are Saying
Frank Russell campground is highly praised for its clean, spacious, and well-maintained sites, including level concrete pads with full hookups and ample room for privacy. Visitors appreciate the beautiful surroundings, well-kept trails, and facilities, making it a favorite for camping with horses and enjoying outdoor activities. While some noted issues like noise from neighboring sites and the need for more on-site staff, overall, guests express a strong desire to return and recommend the campground for a relaxing experience.

Other than the grass not being mowed, it was great. At week before Memorial Day, the grass was ankle tall. Made for a lot of bugs and worse, ticks! Crawling on us, the dogs even had some latch. Mowing finally happened the Tuesday we left. Mowing no trimming. Disappointed, this’s usually a very nice & well tended camp.

We had a great stay other than the grass was really tall around the campsite.

The concrete pads are very nice. Plenty of room for a travel trailer and tow vehicle as well as a boat and second vehicle. The electric, water and sewer hookups were all well placed and worked as they should.
