VERY easy to back into but our space for chairs and set us was poor due to railroad ties and step down. Gravel was thin and sandy after rain. There is a beach access 1/2 mile down path at end of culdesac circle drive. Great for family swim, dogs and fishing. Feels like a beach with waves rushing in from boats! Very part about this section of campground!

The hike-in tent site was overgrown and the trail leading to the site was no longer visible. The grass around the lamp holder was about two feet high and the grass around the picnic table was about a foot high. Poison ivy and ticks in the site too. The maintenance team abandoned this site. Sites 2 and 5 looked pretty good but some of the other hike-in sites were in similar states of abandonment.

Our stay was wonderful! The beach was awesome! Bathrooms were clean and well stocked! Showers were a little chilly but felt good after the humidity! Bugs were fairly mild mostly knats and ticks. Our site was very spacious and the neighbors were friendly! We definitely would stay again!
