Our first trip here and absolutely loved it!! This is one of our favs, by far. We went as a recommendation from a friend that lives close by and traveled from where we live at Lake of the Ozarks on opening weekend. The trip was so worth it and we already booked future trips. Our family enjoyed the awesome opportunity to get out on trails and brought our bikes and rode on the camp roads each day. A truly remarkable experience! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Peaceful and large sites with lots of shade. All facilities are easily accessible from all camping spots and were spotless. We had a great view of the lake from our site (048). Will definitely be coming back.

We have been very happy with the Sentry Ridge sites. I like the space in between sites. It’s a beautiful area. We like to take a drive and look for deer. The campground is good for bike riding. Easter weekend was perfect. We have stayed there in October when we had a bit of snow. You can’t go wrong here.

Overall we had beautiful weather and a wonderful experience. The site was clean and well prepared; leaves and debris were blown well away from camp area. I love the separation of the camp sites and the large abundance of trees. You really feel like your camping in a forest.
When we first arrived the 50 amp service was tripping our surge proctor which required our using the 30 amp breaker. This wasn't going to be a problem as the temperatures were cool and we were mindful about using certain things at the same time. Although we wanted to notify the attendant about the problem once we left. This wasn't necessary as we stumbled upon a maintenance crew working on a shower building. They radioed in a request for work order to our site. Within a very short time, maybe 20 minutes, a maintenance worker was on our site and testing the 50 amp breaker. He found the problem and had the 50 amp service up and running in no time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back often. If there were any negatives it would be no hot water in the shower and large amounts of ticks, but then it was the second week of April and the park had just opened.
