What Guests Are Saying
Sutton Bluff Recreation Area is praised for its great campground, especially for ATV enthusiasts, with direct access to trails and a beautiful natural setting. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the respectful behavior of fellow campers, despite some issues with facilities and the absence of a camp host. While there are concerns about maintenance and missing amenities like a wastewater dump, overall, the area remains a favored spot for camping and outdoor activities.

Surprisingly busy, crowded, and noisy. Camp ground completely out of firewood and was told by people running the campground just to go out in the woods and find it which I thought was illegal in a national forest. ATV trails are really poorly marked other than 4 and 5 which are listed as closed. Frustrated we didn't even stay the night and I lost two nights of reservations/money. 2.5 rating in place of 2 stars. Wouldn't mind going back but also not in a hurry.

The location was beautiful and close to the river. The challenge is always to keep the sites clear of trash and the bathrooms clean, light, and fresh.
