What Guests Are Saying
Sutton Bluff Recreation Area is praised for its great campground, especially for ATV enthusiasts, with direct access to trails and a beautiful natural setting. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the respectful behavior of fellow campers, despite some issues with facilities and the absence of a camp host. While there are concerns about maintenance and missing amenities like a wastewater dump, overall, the area remains a favored spot for camping and outdoor activities.

Suttons Bluff has gone down hill ever since the campground host has left the campground. Electric at the sites has not been working, fire pits have been broken and not cleaned out, the shower house/ restrooms is total disaster no outside lights at night very dangerous someone is going to get hurt no supplies in the restrooms soap, paper towels and toilet paper. The restrooms lights are filled with dead bugs. The woman’s restroom does not have a handle or lock. With NO DUMP STATION or water at camp sites we rely on having these amenities.

Like the camp site. Holiday weekend the 4th July. Wasn't as busy as I thought.Everybody was respectful.
The shower house and bathrooms really needs some attention they're starting to show their age and they're not as clean as I like. I'm still coming back I like the area for camping and Side by side .

Beautiful area and quiet campground but if you are looking for decent bathrooms/showers, it's not here. Pretty disgusting to be honest.

We have been going to Sutton Bluff for quite a long time and here recently the experience has been horrible. Without a campsite host the place has really went downhill NO supplies in the restrooms, no lights at the restrooms at night the showers are absolutely disgusting. Most of these issues would be resolved if the sites had water and a dump station. I understand the expense of doing this that is why we rely on a clean well maintained facility.
