Viola is a highly praised campground known for its beauty, cleanliness, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite among RV campers. Not the best camping experience we've had. It really seems like the Corps is letting the campgrounds go down hill.

Park attachments are awesome! Camped on 52 lake front and it was perfect. One thing I’m going to recommend to the Corps of Engineers… don’t put 40 foot camp sites when you don’t have roads that our campers can get down without running into trees or having to back up 5 times. Get into your campsite it’s not easy but once you get there it’s worth it!!!

The camp ground was beautiful... We were greeted by several friendly on site camp hosts and reassured we had lucked out with the most envied site (#52), on a very last minute whim mind you. Our stay was not nearly as long as we'd have liked, so we plan to come back again!

Camping at any COE park is always a good experience. Clean park, clean restrooms and showers. We had sites 52 and 53. 52 is beautiful and right on the water but is full sun most of the day. 53 across the road, nice and shady all day. Liked 52 best for most days, but since it was 100+ degrees everyday we were there, spent a lot of time at 52.

just wanted to share that the Viola camp site is a very well-maintained campground. the people that run the campsite keep it very clean and are very nice people to know. There is a lot of good shady lots to choose from and spots on the waterfront. I have been going here now for two years and really enjoy it every time we go. The marina is nice, and I keep my boat there year-round. Thanks for the good memories for our kids, grand kids, and great grand kids. Tim V

Over all great stay in only thing I hope you can rectify is the dump station with no way to rinse the black water tank this is a big problem some various other sites offer this and even sites with potable water right there we can't use the hydrant to flush . Thank you and I hope you can fix this.
