What Guests Are Saying
Viola is a highly praised campground known for its beauty, cleanliness, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite among RV campers. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained facilities, friendly hosts, and enjoyable activities like fishing and kayaking. While there were some concerns about restroom accessibility and a few issues with park management, overall experiences have been positive, with many planning to return in the future.

The campsite floods almost every year ruining our vacation time in either May or June. The Corp of Engineers is to blame as they do not drop the lake levels during the winter as required. I am in the process of writing to my Congressman concerning the Corp not following their own established procedures in anticipation of the spring rains and flooding porblems.

We parked our camper here for two nights while visiting friends across the road. We really like the sites and will come back to camp in the future. We were surprised the season closed on Sep 15th, which seemed about six weeks early.

Camping sites are layed out in the wrong direction. Closed season to early need to stay open until November 1st. Beautiful area, great people, enjoyed being there.

Great place to camp! We kept to ourselves and didn't really talk to anyone else but with covid hitting the area hard once again this was for the best! We really enjoyed labor day weekend going out on the boat and doing some fishing. Very peaceful environment!
