What Guests Are Saying
Viola is a highly praised campground known for its beauty, cleanliness, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite among RV campers. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained facilities, friendly hosts, and enjoyable activities like fishing and kayaking. While there were some concerns about restroom accessibility and a few issues with park management, overall experiences have been positive, with many planning to return in the future.

The park attendants are excellent, but I'm tired of the Corp. of Engineers flooding the lake EVERY year. We have been going to Viola for over 20 years and its just been the last 5 or 6 years that they flood it every camping season. It used to be that they would lower the lake in anticipation of spring rains, but not now, because people who have scheduled family vacations don't matter as long as the Corp. can sell that excess water to the electric company. If you're looking for a guaranteed campground site on Table Rock look for one that's elevated above 925 feet and preferably not one run by the Corp. of Engineers.

One of the best camp grounds we have stayed at on the last 2 years. The only complaint we really have is the parking situations. It's pretty tight.other than that though the grounds were beautiful The lake was a little flooded this time but that was fine. Park attendance or super helpful and super nice. We will surely be back to this one.

Lovely COE park in a totally rural setting!! The current caretakers, Toni and Marshall are treasures that I hope the Corp appreciates!! They go the extra mile to help and outdo themselves cleaning bathrooms (ugh) and any job that needs doing.
I would suggest that some $$
Be spent to spray weeds in the
RV Sites and add some rock. Weeds are growing in profusion adding a pool cared for appearance in an otherwise idyllic setting. Thanks COE!!
