What Guests Are Saying

Viola Park is highly praised for its beauty, cleanliness, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite camping destination for many visitors. The well-maintained facilities and friendly hosts contribute positively to the overall experience. Some concerns were noted regarding restroom accessibility and a specific incident involving park management, but these did not overshadow the enjoyable experiences reported by most campers.

We really like site #38, we have stayed in it before. We enjoy the beauty of this park and searching the area for flea markets and other close attractions like Roaring River and scenic byways of the area.

We stayed pretty much the whole weekend at the campsite, and we would walk around the whole campground with the dogs. We read Edgar Allen Poe and ghost stories at night. It was absolutely relaxing.

First time camping at Viola and we enjoyed our stay. We used the swimming area and it was great. We had a site with shade. It did rain a lot, but we made the most of it.
