It was quite campsite was littered with leaves and limbs had to clean up before setting up camp due to recent storms. Host were very nice. Camp grounds where not crowded due to time of year.

Nice campground. Loved the playground near camp. Water within walking distance.

This campground has such potential, the sites were good size , ours was not very level. The roads in and sites would benefit from grading. The lake was pretty . Most disappointing was the upkeep. Grass was knee high in some areas , fire pits were not cleaned out and site reservations slips were on pedestals 2 days past .
Our post was marked A28P our reservation site was A28A . After driving around we went back to the host and he stated they were one and the same why add an extra level of confusion?
T mobile and antenna TV were good
Please cleanup this little gem
Also , reservation time was good , not the 6 pm as at some parks lately

Looks pretty to drive by but is NOT pretty to stay. The grass is not kept up and the ground is just a wild mess of ticks and TONS of ANTS. SO many ants we had to go buy ant spray just to keep them from invading us after the first night (literally hundreds were crawling all over our tent) it was a nightmare. The ground is SOOO rocky good luck with your stakes for tents. It just feels dirty. I will never stay at this campground again. And when I was down by the water, all the sudden there was like a thousand bees next to me, I was like, "SERIOUSLY?" The only good thing was I saw a bald eagle up close, so that was cool.

We arrived on Wed. and was told the restrooms were closed by the caretaker and Park Ranger. Maintenance had been notified and was told it should be fixed by the next day. Left on Sunday, still wasn't fixed. This was a big inconvenience as my father-in-law is handicapped and put him at a great strain to have to drive to the entrance of campground to use the main restrooms many times. We reserve the handicapped spot closest to this restroom for him. I expect that when there is type of an issue and am told it will be fixed, it should be. We kept asking about when it was going to be fixed and kept being told, "they should be here anytime." DO BETTER!
This was at Crabtree Cove.
