Hawker Point is a beautiful campground with stunning views of the lake and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The campground hosts are friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While some sites may be small and crowded, and there have been issues with check-in times and a boil order, the overall experience remains positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

We enjoyed this site as it was nice and breezy by the lake. We could easily walk down to the rock beach for a quick float/swim. The camp hosts/attendants are great and the nearby flush toilet was kept very clean. Great Verizon cell phone signal too… usually 3 bars.

We had just camped at Ruark Bluff area and were surprised at how much more clear the water was at Hawker Point. I don't know why the water quality was so much better in this part of the same lake, but it was. The park itself was very beautiful and shady too. The restrooms and showers were not ideal though at all. In the campground, the only flush toilet that I found was just a single male/female on each side, and you had to go outside to wash your hands. Kind of comical. Then, there is a shower house that you had to drive to up by the entrance. You would think that there would be multiple showers, but it also was set up kind of weird. There was one shower stall with two shower heads in that one room. So, effectively, there was one shower for a whole campground. Lol! Even so, I would go back simply because the area was so beautiful. It was worth some inconvenience. Nice quiet place.

The people at the booth here are amazing and keep things very clean. Much better than other campsites on Stockton lake.
