What Guests Are Saying

Hawker Point is a beautiful campground with stunning views of the lake and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The campground hosts are friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While some sites may be small and crowded, and there have been issues with check-in times and a boil order, the overall experience remains positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Beautiful Lake. The site was amazing and no one was in front of us so we had a great view of the lake.

Love camping at Hawker point campsites are right by the water. The boat ramp is easy to get in and out off. The campground hosts are always friendly and they take good care of the campground always clean and maintained.

A beautiful stay on the water. Ongoing improvements meant there was no potable water except near the dump station at the entrance. Easy back in on loop A for our 35’ fifth wheel. We were glad we previewed the sights and chose to stay on the side of the road away from the shore, as all those sites had steep inclines. While technically long enough to accommodate a big rig, the pad at our nose would have been a good 2’-3’ higher than our tail.

Looks like a fisherman’s paradise. Had we stayed longer, I’m sure we would have enjoyed putting our kayak in for a paddle. As it was, we got to do some exploring on our e-bikes which was fun.

Can’t beat the price, especially with our Golden Geezer Pass!🤣

  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
  • Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.

    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.

Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
  • Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
  • Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
