What Guests Are Saying
Hawker Point is a beautiful campground with stunning views of the lake and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The campground hosts are friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While some sites may be small and crowded, and there have been issues with check-in times and a boil order, the overall experience remains positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Our experience at Hawker Point is always beyond enjoyable. The camp hosts are always taking care of the grounds and facilities. They are always willing to help and answer any questions that we have. I am always disappointed in the shower houses at Hawker Point though. This campground is always packed every week/weekend with people from everywhere across the 4 state area and I would think that the Corp of Engineers would like to take pride in their reputation and update the shower house.

Hawker Point is one of the top camping grounds to stay at, except for the shower facilities. This is one of the most spacious, shaded, and great access to the water campgrounds that we have stayed at. The camp hosts are always friendly, helpful, and keep the campground and facilities clean. We prefer and will always camp only at Hawker Point. I am very disappointed that the Corp of Engineers does not want to take pride in the facilities amenities.

Excellent location at A05! Completely shaded and great for those very hot days when you want to enjoy being outside without sweating to death. These sites are paved unlike others and you have lots of nature around you with trees. This camp site is my favorite at Stockton Lake.
The only downside is that the showering facility is way up at the entrance, which is a very long walk from A and B sites. I would recommend just driving up there, which is what everyone did. The restrooms are also a good distance away as A sites only have one and it is at the far edge of A, near B sites.
Overall, it was clean, well kept, and everyone was respectful and friendly. The attendants were easy to work with and accommodating. They kept everything in order and pleasant!

First time here. Was a great site and overall nice campground. Loved the direct water access from the campsite and felt more secluded compared to the other campground options at Stockton Lake (which is a plus).
