What Guests Are Saying
Hawker Point is a beautiful campground with stunning views of the lake and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The campground hosts are friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While some sites may be small and crowded, and there have been issues with check-in times and a boil order, the overall experience remains positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The location was nice and well kept, it is hard to get down to the water, pretty much a straight drop off. I'm giving one star because they didn't specify online when booking that if your generator for your camper is load enough to hear from the road (only about 15 feet away from site) they can use their own discretion and make you turn it off if it's during "quite time" so we were completely un prepared for no electricity in the middle of the night with our two sleeping babies inside the camper. Even though there were two other campers by our site who were not told to turn theirs off. I already called the site the day after to get information about what happened and try to understand why they wouldn't list that online when booking sites. I carefully re read everything I could find online about the site and nothing states anything like this being a rule. I would not have even booked the site if I knew that. I left a suggestion to the staff I called and I'm hoping she passes my statement to her higher up so in the future everyone could know as much information as possible. One small change to the online info saying, after 10pm your generators need to be very quite or else they can make you turn it off, would most likely change most people's choices to camp here. And I also rented 4 sites so it's not like we were even that close to anyone. There was only 3 other sites in the whole area, 1 out of 3 being closer to us and the other 2 were across the road.
