What Guests Are Saying
Hawker Point is a beautiful campground with stunning views of the lake and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The campground hosts are friendly and helpful, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While some sites may be small and crowded, and there have been issues with check-in times and a boil order, the overall experience remains positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Sites are just steps from the water. Great views of the lake, sunrises and sunsets. Campground host are fantastic … keeping restrooms and recently vacated sites clean.

Camp host were so nice! They took pride in the park and made sure it was spotless! We stayed on campsite A7. Gorgeous water front spot. The kids swimmed the entire time and we never even had to leave our campsite. We have stayed at Hawker Point years ago and the only thing we could remember was there was little shade. That is still true for some camp spots, especially the ones closest to the water. Our spot had one little tree that covered just a corner of our trailer. But in the evening on loop A, the sun sets behind the trees putting that entire loop in the shade early! There is a playground, which is not listed anywhere on this site which is located to the bathroom on loop A. It is covered in shade most of the day, which we found great! The shower houses were not anything spectacular but they did the job. My only complaint was concerning a large group of teenagers (9 or more) decided to be rude and take over the playground while my small children were trying to play. That is nothing that the campground could have controlled and it can happen anywhere. Overall we had an amazing weekend here at Hawker Point and will most definitely be returning!
