Beautiful campground, would of chosen a different site if I knew how many were available. The reservation only showed a few sites available for reservation, but on arrival the campground was empty except for 2 sites that were also reserved.

Site 11, 20/30/50 electric and water. Entry into this campground only shows Peoples Creek with a very steep hill getting into the campgrounds. This is the Lower (Peoples Creek). Only one shower house with family rooms. Nice bike or walking trail that will take you past the dam the other COE campgrounds (Redmond). New asphalt was installed during our stay.

Beautiful location, private site and all amenities one needs. Hoping to return again. Would be nice if the campground was available during the winter even if no water or sewer were available.

Had a wonderful time. Other than being windy the weather was perfect. Everything was clean and in working order.Nice warm shower but it could really use a new paint job.

The lower campground we stayed at was laid out very well. Space between camps so you were not awning to awning. Refreshing for a state park campsite. Facilities were clean ,hot showers. Lots to do around the area. Good stay. Price was very fair. Would do it again for sure

Nice family type campground, better in the summer where you could go to the beach.

The best corps park anywhere. Full hookups, 50-amp service, spacious sites, excellent restrooms. Though you're up from the water, it's a nice view and just a short walk away. They have a cart/hiking/biking paved trail that runs from one park to three or four of the others, along the lake. We stayed in the "Upper" park in a 43 ft 5th wheel w/5 slide outs. Verizon coverage was great even though we didn't have but 2 bars. We stayed at sight 45 near the hot showers. The park staff were great. Hospitable, friendly, gracious, helpful. We couldn't possibly say enough good things about them.

Existing day use shelter reservations may be cancelled by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers if the facility is closed due to flooding, elevated security threats, maintenance problems, etc. Reservations may also be cancelled when the reservation conflicts with large public special events that would negatively impact a private event at the shelter. For these reasons, customers should consider an alternate date or location in the event a closure is necessary. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. |
