It’s a very quiet campground with a steep entrance and exit. There are many shaded sites with nice tables and fire pits. The location is close to several marinas if you want to spend a day on the lake. When we were there, the Greenville Days event was in progress and we chose to go there for a day. We rode the stage coach, browsed the craft tents, listened to nice blue grass music and ate some delicious BBQ.

Pros: The campsite was clean and very nice. Overall very good weekend camping and i would consider staying again. Cons: the host is completely over the top here like a miny rude drill sgt.. I visit numerous campsites every year and have NEVER been harassed by a host, usally they are the best people ever. The campsite is listed as having a 2 vehicle compasity, barely one vehicle fit. Its no problem to park a vehicle elsewhere however, we were told to move a vehicle and we also had to have markers hanging from the mirrors. We were doing this and less than 2 minutes later she came back complaining that we weren't moving the vehicle fast enough as we were unloading coolers and chairs. She hovered while we unloaded our vehicle. The weekend we stayed the campground was empty. Maybe 5-6 campers in total it was wonderful and very quite. Then we had this over the top host, who was at out campsite almost everytime we were there. Maybe she was bored. I felt she would have liked to dictate how we set up our site too. The second encounter was a tag on our actual camper. I have an email receipt!!! Plus you're not getting in without proof of payment, especially at this campground. I'm sure she has dealt with loud & ignorant campers but, 2 of us are law enforcement and we definitely don't like dealing with loud obnoxious people either so I get being extremely by the book but, after she came a third time to just look at our campsite and to let us know if we used the beach we had to have a tag displayed that was already displayed, I was done. I then understood why nobody else was sitting outside their campers in the evenings and why the campground was so empty. I love "by the book" but this host lady is costing this campground lost revenue. I'd pay more to stay somewhere that my family wasn't bothered non-stop. Luckily we spent the days on the lake and not at the campground.
