Clean campground, well maintained and clean showers/bathrooms, no big, tall grass around my camper. The staff we met were super friendly, laid back, and were camping folks just like us. No riff raff trouble makers to ruin our experience. very pleased!!!

We camped here in November. Too chilly to be on the water, but many hiking trails to explore. We checked out some of the trails adjacent or near the west campground where we camped, as well as driving 20 minutes to the state park. Honestly, the trails at the state park were much better marked and easier to follow. With all the leaves on the ground, you couldn’t really see the trail, so the markers were quite helpful.

Stayed in your buddy site. It isn’t user friendly for slide outs. It was to tight. We managed to get parked but not the best of experience.

Site 008 was very nice and really level. We weren’t able to check in at the traditional registration booth across the street due to it being the off season. We went ahead and backed in and set up. A couple hours later the hosts came around and checked us in with no issues. Our site was great with plenty of room. Very close to the shower house as well. T Highway next to the campsite has been repaved and is so much nicer with only one exception. The old Highway had no rumble strip, but now it does. (We sat and watched them cut it in as we camped) It seemed like every third vehicle would hit the rumble strip heading into the curve which seemed to add some noise that previously was not an issue. Other than that we had a great weekend camping trip!
