Have been camping at Greenville most of my trips this year. We like the concrete and asphalt pads. I noticed some of the pads at Redmon’s have been updated. We had a good time and will be back.

COE campground that has full hookups is a plus. Nice place, the only thing I didn’t like was having to go across the highway with travel trailer and then turn around and cross over again to go to my site. They wouldn’t let me drop trailer off before going over to sign in, makes no since to me.

Could use some activities in area. It's mostly a boating area, so if you don't have a boat, not much to do.

The only issue was there was a lot of broken glass and trash in the camp site and surrouding area. We picked up the majority of it!

Had a nice quiet level spot for the week. Had nice drainage during 3 days of rain. Utilities were all up and running. No problems at all with our stay.

Overall experience was good. However, campsites are too close together. Was there on a sold out Labor Day weekend and was very crowded and difficult to move about because of 108 campsites that are extremely crowded close together. Most sites work well for RVs but sites that work for tents are limited, esp. for large tents. Bathrooms and shower houses are cleaned daily, but sanitation of the bathroom was only done once a week. Therefore, I recommend that you use you own sanitizer when using one of these facilities. Furthermore, there is no soap dispensers in the bathroom so you need to bring your own soap. It is nice that there is a playground for the kids and walking/bike trails within the campground. Check in is easy and quick, but you need to make reservations well in advance of Labor Day or other major holidays because these sites are sold out quickly for these days. In addition, due to the Covid-19, first-come, first-serve sites are no longer available and all sites must be reserved. This campground needs to post pictures of each campsite on recreation.gov so that individuals know what he or she is reserving and would know if the site will suit their needs before arriving. The campground has failed to post these pics, therefore, leaving campers unsure of what they are getting before arrival. Therefore, unless you have been there and know what site will work best for you, you are taking a chance because some sites are very small, some are very large, some work great for RVs but not tents, and other sites may work for small tents and only a few may work for large tents. The ticket booth attendants, the campground hosts, park rangers, and other Corp personnel are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful to the guests.

We enjoyed our week here at Redman East. It’s a little hard to book online sometimes but that’s the only way you can book now.
