Swim area is no longer available. :-)
I would love to see the closed sites, especially around the playground, re-opened

The full hook up site was wide and lots of space. The bathrooms near us were closed and look like they have been in disrepair for a while.

B loop is mostly shut down, and the vault toilet smelled horrible. The beach was shutdown as well as other amenities. Mice were running around in the bathroom/shower house. Sure it was a great campground in the 80βs, but leaves a lot to be desired today.

Nice Campground. The couple at the gate that checked us in were very nice and friendly. Site was large enough with electric. No water hookup on site though. You have to fill your tank at a offsite hydrant. Only real problem we had was the fireplace was never cleaned before we checked in, and neither was the site, there was trash laying all over the site and in the fireplace, cig butts, egg shells, etc. We did notice a man walking around checking fireplaces, but he never cleaned any of the ones that were full. Also the same for the bathroom. He checked them but never cleaned them. He just walked in and back out.

It would have gotten the full 5 stars, but the beach associated with the campsite was closed. I wish I had known. I would have chose a campsite closer to another beach. Other then that, the campsite was clean level which made for tent camping a very good experience.
