We love Long shoal campground at Truman Lake. We with trees would be planted as many trees over the years have died and shade is hard to get in many camp sites. Also more electric sites are needed. With more people camping it is hard to find an electric spot on most weekends. And please open back up some bathrooms along with refurbishing them. Some work has been done on some of the bathrooms but many have been shut down.
We love camping at Corps land and hope to do so for many years.

Quite with nice views of lake (68) walk down and enjoy the water. Close to Warsaw if you forget something.

My first trip to Long Shoal and it was great! The sites were level and spacious. Even though the campground was full, it was still quiet. Our site had a lake view and it was beautiful. The only downside is there is only one shower house which has the only flushing toilets. So it was a bit of a walk to use a flushing toilet (I have a pop-up with no bathroom).
