What Guests Are Saying

Owl Creek Cabin is a charming and well-stocked retreat, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful surroundings, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and outdoor activities. Guests enjoy the beautiful hikes nearby, including the scenic trail to Holland Lake. While there are minor issues like the ungraveled parking area and a non-functional fan, these do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.

It was all wonderful and what we expected! The lights over the horse corrals were on all night. It would better for star gazing to have them off! I would love to go back but those lights all winter are wasteful.

This was a perfect spot for a quick winter get away. We brought snow shoes and yak tracks to explore nearby trails. It was fabulous to return to a toasty warm cabin after some time in the snow. We will definitely be back.

Not the most rustic cabin - but dang it was clean, and bright, and warm.

This was our favorite cabin stay to date! We enjoyed being close to the outfitter corrals and seeing the pack trains come and go, as well as talking to the wranglers. In the afternoon, we hiked up to Holland Lake Falls for spectacular views with our picnic lunch. Nice to have Holland Lake Lodge nearby for afternoon drinks and delicious dinners. The cabin was clean, modern, well stocked and comfortable.

The cabin looked great and was represented well in the web site write ups. However, we chose to not stay due to the stained dirty condition of the beds. Thanks, Tim

Wonderful little cabin, extremely well equipped, nice folks staying at the campground and very fun for the kids to see horses and mules. Holland lake can't be beat for a summer day. Cabin backs to Owl Creek so be prepared for mosquitoes at least in the early summer, some got in the cabin and ate us alive all night! Would stay here again in a minute, especially on a weekday when it's very quiet.

Very modern for a forest service cabin. Small, but comfortable, and it’s an excellent value!
