Great spot, hard to get to in the winter if there's more than a foot of snow on the ground! I'd recommend bringing gear for hiking or skiing, season dependent. Lots of great trails for mountain biking and dirt biking. Fishing would be amazing in the summer, you can fish from the bridge 100 feet from the cabin when the stream is free of ice.

Wonderful location. Cabin is cozy and cold down beds make it roomy. Pump working even in cold. Lots of wood split already. Road definitely rough in spots and not good in deeper snow.

Bring your own TP if you want to be sure and have some. No functional lantern & no cleaning supplies. We were glad we brought our own 2-burner propane stove. The cabin is at mile marker 15 and the solitude and beauty are incredible.
