First the camp host John…. Exceptional host
The site was perfect and private and only a short walk to the lake. Holland lake was absolutely beautiful and the hike to the waterfall was spectacular Highly recommend this campground ⛺️ 💕

I reserved site 11 for three nights. It was nicely situated and provided a pull through drive which I prefer. The host, John, was helpful and tolerated a friend who was in Site 10. Beautiful location and we hiked to the falls and rented a canoe for a short paddle. The third night the campground filled and the deluxe sized camper compromised our view but it was still a 5 star stay!

Well spaced campsites with mature trees, beautiful hiking trails accessible from the campground, swimming from the day use area, clean facilities and helpful hosts make this a favorite. Bear-proof lockers are available. Other campers were friendly. Bring bug and bear spray and know you’ll be using a portapotty. Wonderful place!

This campground has fallen into disrepair. The vault toilets are no longer available. They have been replaced with "little blue houses" that only get pumped once a week.
The area experienced a wind event that knocked down a lot of timber. Some has been cut up, some had not. The pieces that are laying about are too green to burn. Should have been healed out, stacked up to season and sold as camp wood next year. Missed a way to generate some funds there.
The dust coming off the road to the north that services the old lodge is terrific. How about a little MagCloride ya'll? Or have the north side service road limited on speed?
I get to use my "old guy" pass here so it's affordable enough. The Loon song from the lake in the morning makes it worth it.
