This campground has fallen into disrepair. The vault toilets are no longer available. They have been replaced with "little blue houses" that only get pumped once a week.
The area experienced a wind event that knocked down a lot of timber. Some has been cut up, some had not. The pieces that are laying about are too green to burn. Should have been healed out, stacked up to season and sold as camp wood next year. Missed a way to generate some funds there.
The dust coming off the road to the north that services the old lodge is terrific. How about a little MagCloride ya'll? Or have the north side service road limited on speed?
I get to use my "old guy" pass here so it's affordable enough. The Loon song from the lake in the morning makes it worth it.

My experience at Hollander Lake was fabulous. The campground area provided sites that weren’t close together. People were quiet at sunset until sunrise. The lake was majestic. Scenery spectacular. The trailhead to the falls was nearby.
I’ll definitely be going back.

The campground host was wonderful and the other campers polite. I do wish there was less time that generators could be used during the day. One or two generators running the majority of the day, takes away from the nature experience.

Always clean and well managed! Fair amount of mosquitos but great time having my morning coffee by the lake, kayaking in the afternoon and watching my retriever swim.

Absolutely beautiful. Quiet, forest, sites are quite far apart. Vault toilets, no cell or internet service, gravel road to get in. Friendly park manager.

Excellent campground & host!
Family just passing through to Glacier, could have stayed a week here.
Swimming & floating is great. The campground is on the shallow side of the lake which keeps the motorboats on the other side. Shady sites, beautiful lake.

I have always loved holland but the experience has gone down. Every year I have camped here and this year was way overcrowded with people constantly coming up to you on your spot and asking when you are leaving, which spot you will try to get next, walking through spot to get to the beach, etc. Not quite or relaxing at all. Very sad to see it turn into this. Lake is still amazing and plenty of space to be alone in the water.

Lake was amazing. We could see two waterfalls from the lake in our kayaks. Be warned about mosquitoes. They were everywhere and without spray it would be difficult to enjoy your time there if you want to be outside.
